Resources

The following Campus Resources are important campus partners who work to support students, faculty, and staff in accessing a living, learning, and working environment free from discrimination and harassment and upholding the University’s civil rights functions.

All Campus Resources listed below are required and committed to keeping information disclosed by members of the Penn community private. Campus Resources will only share information with need-to-know University administrators (e.g., University Life, Penn Public Safety, Weingarten, Human Resources) to determine the most comprehensive way to assist the student, faculty, staff, or postdoctoral trainee, and to enable the University to take necessary action to address its compliance obligations, track for patterns or trends, and ensure the safety and well-being of the University community.

The Campus Resources marked by an asterisk below have heightened confidentiality protections and are able to maintain information shared with them as confidential under state law or by institutional practice. Confidential Resources with the ability to maintain privilege under state law are prohibited from disclosing information without the permission of the individual seeking services, or unless required by law, such as where there is an imminent threat of harm to self or others, or the conduct involves the suspected abuse of a minor. University Confidential Resources include the Office of the Chaplain and Religious and Spiritual Life Center, Student Health and Counseling, and the Employee Assistance Program. The remaining Campus Resources marked by an asterisk have also been treated as confidential by institutional practice; information shared with these campus resources may be subject to release in response to a subpoena, court order, or federal law.
